There are so many things I love about being a wedding photographer. Like getting to witness the first time a groom sees his bride on their wedding day, or capturing photographs that will be passed down family lines for generations to come. But the best part is that every single wedding is unique. No two are ever the same. Trevor + Jenn’s was no exception to this rule. We squeezed into the back of a 4 wheel drive pick-up and wound our way up an old dirt road, surrounded by cows and wild pigs – and even a pair of donkeys, until we came to this beautiful hilltop. So perfectly situated, as if God had put it there just for that moment. These are my favorite parts of any wedding. When we sneak off during the reception and get away from it all. It was just us on this hilltop, and for the first time all day, Trevor + Jenn got to close their eyes, hold each other (as husband and wife!) and just breathe. Every single wedding I photograph is different, but they all also have one thing in common, and that’s the joy it gives me to see two people who are madly in love take each other by the hand, and say I’m with you forever.
More photos from Trevor + Jenn’s gorgeous barn wedding coming soon!
